Frontlines patch 1.02 coming next week
We just got confirmation from KAOS, the studio behind the game Frontlines: Fuel of War that they are releasing the new patch 1.02 next week which should fix a whole lot of bugs aswell as parts of the server browser problems. In the meantime the team has also already start working on patch 1.03.
Hi all,
Sorry we couldnt give you an exact date for the next patch, we wanted to make sure that we test it properly so we dont introduce new issues.
We are about a week away from releasing 1.02 which includes many fixes and we are already at work on 1.03 where we plan to have an overhaul to the server browser to fix many complaints.
Some of these fixes will be in 1.02, such as not being able to join some servers, filters always working properly, player count sorting etc. However a bigger update on the browser will be in 1.03.
With 1.02, we are also releasing aย dedicated server buildย and a frontend to host your own servers without CD keys.
Thanks for your patience,
Frank, KAOS
Downtimes coming up
From 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (EST) on Monday, March 31st, 2008 we will be performing maintenance on our servers to support the upcoming 1.0.2 patch. During this time if you try to login to multiplayer, you may receive invalid key errors, see no servers in the browser, or have trouble connecting to servers. We will post on the forums and status page when the maintenance is complete. This only affects PC players.
Patch 1.02 is currently in a huge testing phase and this should be complete in the first week of April. Stay tuned for updates.
